Silhouette Exercise - Syn Studio Assignment

This was a sketching exercise for Eric Gagnon's How to Sketch class for Syn Studio Concept Art Diploma Program.

The goal of the assignment was to create various silhouettes for a submarine design and then to experiment with painting over them and using photos on a clipping mask to play with added details.

The second image was simply a contextualization of the designs using very basic environments made with photos. Featuring a few Martian Rovers as well from an earlier assignment.
